Foolish!

So it happens again! The media in advertisement never seems to fail in discriminating women. I found this ad, and found it very unbelievable. This ad is for BMW, but can you explain why there is a women in this ad. Where is the car! And they have a nerve to put in small writing " You know your not the first"..... what are they trying to say? It is so crazy how these people are becoming more and more bold with these images. Should we just sit back and accept them? Well that answer is obvious for me. Its NO! This is ridiculous and needs to STOP!

And it happens AGAIN!

So, as most of you probably can tell that I strongly feel that discrimination against women is something I feel that I need to fight against. In this video that I posted the subject is Body Image. This is something that women are constantly dealing with. I blame the media because there is only one constant image being portrayed within society, that all women are trying to look this way. It makes me upset that women have to deal with these problems but they are real.

Another Ad, discriminating women. This Ad is displaying the new burger king sandwhich, but uses a female with an open mouth to give it an extra effect. What makes me upset is the fact that they are using this women as a sex symbol. Women are'nt sexual objects and should not be used as one either.

Imedeen Ad: Outrageous!!!

If you may not know, Imedeen is a product for skin. The writing on the Ad says, "My secret to beautiful skin? I swallow. Why on earth would they put this sexual comment on this Ad? This Ad is very discriminatory towards women in so many ways.There is no reason that she should be on a bed if you’re selling a skin product. Another thing that caught my mind was the she is looking away from the camera. I feel that this symbolizes a lack of power. She is sending a message that she is inferior and ready to do anything. Her mouth is also slightly open which symbolizes a sexual gesture of submissiveness.
